One brain. Every exam.
Every Neuron Trainer app, from drone piloting to nursing, runs on the same core engine, refined across the entire portfolio. When we make the engine smarter, all 19 live apps get smarter overnight.
What’s inside every app
Smart Quiz, the adaptive core
Every answer you give updates a per-category model of your knowledge. Smart Quiz assembles each session to hit your weakest areas, favoring questions you missed recently and capping repeats of what you already know.
An AI Tutor configured for your exam
Miss a question and don’t understand why? Ask the built-in tutor. Each app’s tutor is set up for its exam’s domain, whether that's FAA regulations, venipuncture procedure, or refrigerant rules, and explains in plain English, at whatever depth you need. Free users get three explanations to try it; Premium is unlimited.
The readiness score: “Am I ready?”
The question every test-taker asks. Once you’ve answered enough questions, the app scores your accuracy per exam category, weighting recent exam and quiz performance over casual drilling, and tells you honestly which categories are holding you back and what to work on next.
Exam Simulator: the real thing, rehearsed
Full-length, timed simulations matching your exam’s real question count, time limit, and category weighting. Exams with multiple sections, like EPA 608’s Core and Types I–III, get a simulator variant for each. Sit the exam five times in the app before you sit it once for real.
Questions built like the real exam
Generic quiz apps recycle the same multiple-choice format for everything. Real exams don’t work that way, so our engine supports 12 distinct question formats, and each app uses the ones its real exam uses.
- Single choice and “select all that apply” multi-select
- Numeric entry with tolerance, and fill-in text answers
- Ordering (put the steps in sequence) and column matching
- Hotspot and drag-and-drop performance questions
- Passage sets with linked follow-ups, essays, and task simulations
- Timed hazard-clip questions for driving-test apps
Progress you can actually see
The progress tab isn’t a vanity percentage. It’s a working dashboard built from your answer history.
Category mastery
Accuracy per exam category with strength and weak areas flagged, so “study more” becomes “drill these two topics.”
Performance trends & pace
Score trend over time plus a pace prediction: at your current rate, when will you be ready for your exam date?
Streaks, goals & heatmap
Daily goals, study streaks, achievements, and an activity heatmap that makes skipped days embarrassingly visible.
Question-type breakdown
See how you perform on multi-select versus ordering versus numeric entry. Some people lose exams to a format, not a topic.
Certificate generator Premium
Export a PDF certificate of your completed prep and results. It's useful proof of effort for employers and training programs.
Exam-specific tools
Some exams need more than questions. The Part 107 app ships a METAR/TAF weather decoder, and calculation-heavy exams get a built-in calculator.
The portfolio effect
Most prep apps are built once and abandoned. Ours share one codebase, and that changes the economics of quality.
Fixes propagate
A bug fixed for nursing students is fixed for electricians the same week. Every app inherits every improvement.
Features compound
When we build a better exam simulator or a smarter readiness model, it ships to the entire portfolio, not just the newest app.
Only the content differs
Each app is its exam’s question bank, category weights, timing rules, and AI tutor persona, running on infrastructure that’s been battle-tested everywhere else.
See the engine in action
The best demo is a free Smart Quiz in any of our apps. By the end of your first session it’s already mapping your weak spots.
